The Miller F. Whittaker Library is a new, three-story steel framed, brick and glass structure that includes an integrated skylight system. The renovation of the structure consisted of two phases in which a wing of the library built in the already existing adjacent south parking lot followed by the relocation of the contents of the present library into the new wing. The existing library was then demolished to make room for the new construction.
