Michael M. Simpson + Associates, Inc. (MMSA) provided structural engineering services to a construction contractor for a design/build project at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. The project concerned structural problems with the Regional Training Facility, which was constructed in 1997. The building was a steel framed structure consisting of a two-story portion and a single-story portion.
