MMSA provided structure engineering design for the new Greenville Middle School. The two-story building consists of a steel framing system with an exterior brick veneer steel stud back-up wall system. Specifically, the roof system is steel metal roof deck supported by sloped steel bar joist and wide flange beams. The floor system is an elevated composite concrete slab and steel beam system supported by the steel frame. The structural wall system is designed with non-load bearing light gage steel stud wall construction. The exterior wall system uses brick veneer with a steel stud back-up system for support.
